after the quake is already getting a great response, and we're 3 weeks from opening! Check out CBC's interview with Richard Wolfe "Murakami's Super-Frog to appear on Vancouver stage", the Vancouver Observer, and Julie Burtinshaw's blog.

The story of Frog, a giant creature who must battle the evil Worm that lives beneath a Tokyo bank tower, is shot through with humour, including the witty dialogue for which Murakami is famous.

We're pleased to offer two sneak peeks of After the Quake - they're both free, so come check them out!

Monday, October 26, doors open from 7:00pm-8:30pm
Drop in and hear the cast of After the Quake at an open rehearsal at the Nikkei Centre, 6688 Southoaks Crescent, Kaede Room (Room 210). (The Nikkei Centre is just a few blocks from the Edmonds Skytrain station.)

Friday, October 30, at 7:00pm
Stop in at the Chapters at Broadway and Granville to hear the cast of After the Quake read a scene from the show, and pick up a copy of Murakami's collection of stories while you're there!
