Stray: Memoir of a Runaway Reading and Performance June 6, 2019 @ 9:30PM in The Cultch Founder’s Lounge

While in the process of writing her acclaimed book Stray: Memoir of a Runaway (Little A, 2018), Tanya Marquardt also collaborated with musician Tim Carlson and director Mallory Catlett to create a punk version, which has since toured to New York, Toronto and Vancouver.

It's that time of year again and Pi is ready to launch its season!

We're going to have a little celebration on October 17th at 7pm, with our first event of the season taking place right after at 8:30pm - Lady Parts Episode 1: BOOBS!

To celebrate, there will be delicious snacks and half-priced cocktails, and you'll get to hear all about our upcoming season.

Pi is excited to announce the amazing band that will be accompanying your brunch - Dawn Pemberton and The Good Almighty! 

Dawn is vibrant, genuine and soulful, and we can't wait to have her and her band perform for you.

Even if you can’t make the FirstLook reading on May 18, join us on May 16 at The Emerald from 5 to 7pm to meet the playwright Olivier Sylvestre who has traveled from Montreal to Vancouver to hear his play in English for the first time!

It’s half-price cocktail night at our favourite local watering hole and performance venue located a block and a half from Pi Headquarters at 555 Gore Street. The translator Leanna Brodie will also be there along with many more from the Pi FirstLook team. Come and give Olivier a warm Vancouver welcome.

For donations received on November 29th, Giving Tuesday, our Board will match up to $1,050!
