Lady Parts

The fourth and final Episode of Lady Parts - SOLD OUT!

What's fuzzy, sticky, and gives life to the world?

A HONEY BEE, you idiot!

But also: VAGINAS. In this episode of Lady Parts, be prepared to get wet, bloody, and weird as we explore all things vagina related: periods, sex, birth, and good ol' disenfranchisement. We recognize some women don't have vaginas, some men do have vaginas, and some people—well, it's none of our goddamn business what's between anyone's legs, but we all have two things in common: we all love to laugh and we've all entered this world through a beautiful flesh taco...

Episode 2 - SOLD OUT!

You probably already know that women are bad at parallel parking, love to chit-chat, and goshdarnit, we just don’t get math! But did you also know that is all complete bullshit? Come learn something new at Lady Parts: BRAINS as we take on some of the ludicrous stereotypes of having both a hippocampus and a vagina.

With sketch comedy, stand up, improv, and true stories, BRAINS was an unabashed homage to the struggles of our gender, a cabaret of the uncomplacent, and the best entertainment you could get on a Tuesday night.  #WeHaveBrainsToo

For this episode, Katey and...

The Events

The Events is a moving play about a faith-shattering act of violence. This gutsy work sets the pain of a mass-shooting survivor against the stolid, consoling presence of a community choir. While The Events struggles with violence, it also explores how we find empathy and common ground inside a tragedy.

The Events runs at the Russian Hall and is presented with the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival.

Tickets are $26 for January 17 preview and 2pm shows, & $31 for 8pm shows. All tickets are general admission and will have a service fee of $3 added.

Dates: January 17 - 20 and 23 -...

Climate Change Theatre Action

From October 1st through November 18th, groups around the world will be taking part in Climate Change Theatre Action with The Arctic Cycle.

For this event, Pi will be joining our colleagues at The Only Animal in producing an afternoon of artistic response to climate change by some of Vancouver's finest artists. Companies will choose works from the readings and performances intended to bring awareness to, and foster discussion around, climate change.

Pi’s contribution will be a performance of Jordan Tannahill’s elegant Nocturne, a music centred mediation on the daily extinction from the world...
